Local Church to Host Breakfast May 31 for Scholarships for Penn Wood Seniors

The Lansdowne Baptist Church, located at Lansdowne & LaCrosse Avenues in Lansdowne, is hosting a breakfast to raise funds for a newly-initiated scholarship program to benefit graduating Penn Wood High School seniors who plan to attend college. The fundraiser, an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast, will be held on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. For adults and teens age 13 and older, the price is $6; children age 5-12 years pay $4; children under age 5 eat free. No family will be charged more than $20.
